VETERANS ENDORSE BARRY MOORE FOR AL-2 CONGRESSIONAL SEAT IN NEW VIDEO

Enterprise, AL–Veterans in Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District strongly endorse Barry Moore in an extended video released Wednesday, Feb. 20th on social media and the web.

Barry Moore is described as “the Veteran’s Veteran”, a “friend of the Veterans” and someone who “cares about the Vets”.  He is seen as the “point man” at Veteran events. Barry Moore’s experience, honesty, and integrity, as well as his character, courage, and values, are all given as reasons why these Veterans are unequivocal in their support for his candidacy.  Moore’s early and ongoing support for President Trump and the President’s commitment to a strong military is another reason for their endorsement.

The Veterans featured in this video have been seen in a 30-second commercial released earlier by the Barry Moore for Congress campaign.  They have decades of service in different branches of the military and this new video lets them explain their reasons for supporting Barry Moore’s candidacy as they could not do in the previous short commercial.

Barry Moore said in a statement:

“I’m honored and humbled to be endorsed by these men who have served their country so faithfully.  I’ve always tried to be there for my fellow Veterans as well as our active-duty military and I’ll continue that support for them in Congress.

“As the only Veteran in this race, I understand the importance of Veterans to our nation. They’re the one-percenters, the ones who protect our rights, protect the Constitution and our freedoms.  You know, experience is a wonderful teacher, and to serve those, you need to have served. You need to have put in those people’s shoes. I’ve been in those combat boots. I understand what it’s like.

“We have so, so many fine soldiers that retire in this area and serve on active duty now. It’s important that we have somebody in Congress who understands their needs on a personal basis, not just give it lip service but has given service to this country.”

Barry Moore is the only Veteran on a crowded Republican ballot in the March 3rd primary election.  He is a former member of the Alabama House, where he served as Chair of the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.  Moore holds a degree in Agricultural Science from Auburn University and is a small businessman from Enterprise. He and his wife Heather have four children.
