BARRY MOORE RELEASES ‘BACK TO WORK’ COMMERCIAL ENCOURAGING RETURN OF AMERICAN INDUSTRY,
APPLAUDS GOVERNOR IVEY’S DECISION TO OPEN MORE BUSINESSES MAY 11
Enterprise – The Barry Moore for Congress campaign has a new commercial calling for the return of the American industry as Alabama reopens. Moore, who is running in Alabama’s 2nd District, was pleased that Governor Ivey decided on Friday to amend her Stay At Home order to allow more businesses to open on May 11th.
Barry Moore said in a statement:
“We shut down the country because of the coronavirus, but it’s time to get back to work. It’s time to reopen Alabama for business. I believe Governor Ivey and Lt. Governor Ainsworth are doing all they can to make our reopening as safe as possible, following President Trump’s guidelines and making them fit Alabama’s needs. I applaud the Governor’s decision to let more businesses reopen on the 11th, and I’m confident that we’ll be able to manage the bumps along the way as we return to normal.
“I believe nothing is more rewarding than the opportunity to labor for one’s own reward. A job builds self-esteem and self-worth, and I know many people who’ve been suffering because they weren’t able to do the work they love. Stay At Home helped us control the spread of the virus, but it’s cost us in ways that we’ll never fully know.
“Now it’s time to start moving back to where we need to be, but just reopening what we closed isn’t enough. We need to bring our factories back from overseas and rebuild our American industry, with good American jobs. We should never let any country threaten us with a disrupted supply chain as China has done during this crisis. We also need to help those small businesses that have managed to hang on during the last few weeks and help new ones start and grow. Small businesses are the best way to bring our economy back, and when I’m in Congress I’ll do everything I can to support American businesses that create American jobs.”
The commercial starts on cable, TV, and the internet on Sunday. You can view it here: https://youtu.be/fLHX_SxssBE
Moore is a small businessman, veteran, former Alabama Legislator, husband, and father of four from Enterprise. He is on the ballot in the Republican runoff election rescheduled for July 14th.
