BARRY MOORE: TRUMP-BROKERED DEAL BETWEEN ISRAEL AND UAE SHOWS “REAL LEADERSHIP FROM THIS PRESIDENT IN HELPING TAKE THIS CRITICAL STEP TOWARDS PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST”
Enterprise, AL–Republican congressional nominee Barry Moore expressed satisfaction at the White House’s announcement of an agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates on Thursday.
The President announced Thursday morning that Israel and the UAE had agreed to full normalization of diplomatic relations. The two nations “will exchange embassies and ambassadors, and begin cooperation across the board and on a broad range of areas, including tourism, education, healthcare, trade, and security” according to a statement from the White House. Numerous members of the Administration, including the President, were involved in facilitating the historic agreement.
Moore said in a statement:
“Once again, we’re seeing real leadership from this President in helping take this critical step towards peace in the Middle East. This is the most important step towards a lasting peace since the Israel-Jordan peace agreement over 25 years ago, and we can thank the negotiation skills of President Trump and his team for helping bring it about.
“Improving the peace and security in the Middle East not only benefits the region but America as well. I’m proud to support this President as he continues to lead us not only through our current domestic difficulties caused by the COVID pandemic but globally as well.
“I look forward to joining the next Congress, where I can work to represent the people of AL-2 and help President Trump in his second term as we continue restoring America to her rightful place as the world’s leading nation.”
Moore will be on the ballot as the Republican nominee for the AL-2 congressional seat in the November 3rd general election. He is a small businessman, veteran, husband, and father of four from Enterprise.
