BARRY MOORE PRAYING FOR POTUS/FLOTUS FOLLOWING POSITIVE COVID TEST
Enterprise, AL–AL-2 Congressional candidate Barry Moore remains confident about President Donald Trump’s reelection following the announcement that both the President and the First Lady had tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The President tweeted late Thursday evening that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for the virus late Thursday night and that both would begin quarantine immediately. The President’s physician also released a statement confirming the diagnosis, stating that both were well and would be staying at home in the White House during their convalescence.
The First Couple were tested after Presidential aide Hope Hicks, who had been traveling with the President and displayed COVID symptoms, tested positive. The President tweeted that Ms. Hicks would be taking a ‘small break’ and is reportedly also in quarantine as she recovers.
Moore said in a statement:
“Our family is praying for the President and First Lady for their protection, healing, and rapid recovery from the COVID virus. I believe the American people will rally in prayer around our great leader and all those around him, especially Ms. Hicks, as they recover from this virus.
“President Trump is a fighter. I have no doubt he will tackle this virus with the same stubborn resolve that we see in him every day. I expect he’ll continue to actively work for us from the White House, and will continue to campaign for his reelection using social media and technology as he has done so effectively in the past. He continues to be my choice to lead our nation for the next four years.
“I ask that we all lift up our President, our First Lady, Vice President and Mrs. Pence, and our nation in our prayers in the days and weeks to come.”
Moore is the Republican nominee for Congress in Alabama’s Second District in the general election on November 3rd. He has been endorsed by President Trump in that race. He is a small businessman, Veteran, husband, and father of four from Enterprise.
