FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BARRY MOORE: HAROLD SACHS ‘WILL BE SORELY MISSED’
Enterprise, AL–Congressman-elect Barry Moore expressed his sadness at the passing of ALGOP Executive Director Harold Sachs from COVOD.
Moore said in a statement:
“Our prayers and our thoughts are with the Sachs family during this time. Harold Sachs was a fine gentleman, and he will be sorely missed. During Harold’s many years of service to the Alabama Republican Party, he saw that Party grow to prominence across the state and the nation. As the longest-serving Executive Director in ALGOP’s history, Harold Sachs played an integral role in that growth. We can honor his memory by continuing to work to support the Party he loved so much, and by standing firm on the conservative ideas he represented so well.”
Sachs served as ALGOP Executive Director, the position he held at his passing. He served on the State Executive Committee for 12 years, and on the State Steering Committee as Vice-Chair of Districts 4,5 for six years. He served as the Winston County Republican Party Chairman for five years and ran as a candidate for State Senate District 4 in 2006.
Moore will become the AL-2 Congressman in the 117th Congress on January 3rd, 2021.
