Enterprise, AL – Today, Barry Moore released the following statement after Jerry Carl agreed to a debate in Baldwin County:
“Alabama’s First Congressional District has become one of the most conservative in the nation, and they need a true conservative voice. I look forward to standing on my record as the first elected official in the nation to endorse President Donald Trump for President and why I was rated as the most effective conservative in the Alabama delegation by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.
“From working on legislation to help our veterans and our agriculture producers, to holding the Biden Administration accountable in the Judiciary Committee for their open borders and weaponized agencies, I have a clear record of getting the job done. I look forward to sharing that with the voters of Baldwin County.”
The debate will be hosted by the Baldwin County Republican Executive Committee and held at the Daphne Civic Center on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
- Congressman Barry Moore was rated as the most effective Republican U.S. Representative from Alabama for the 117th Congress by the Center for Effective Lawmaking.
- Moore was rated as the most conservative Republican U.S. Representative from Alabama for the 117th Congress by Heritage Action and Conservative Review, and as the most conservative Republican U.S. Representative from Alabama for the year 2022 by CPAC.
